I LOVE MY MOM!

My mom came into town to spoil her son and to spend some time with us. She came with her famous meatballs and sauce...YUMMY!

I picked her up at Grand Central Terminal (it was a nightmare) and we decided to walk over to the A train at Port Authority/42nd St and 8th Ave. We walked through Time Square and saw all of the bright lights. She was thrilled, and I was feeling like a tourist.

I wanted to take my mom over the Brooklyn Bridge so we took the train to Broadway/Nassau. Wouldn't you know it, we were right near the World Trade Center. Again, I had this feeling like I was being a tourist. It was her 1st time down there since "that day". I took it for granted because I worked in Jersey City last year and was down there everyday for at least 6 months.

Onto the Brooklyn Bridge...I must admit that it is much nicer being a pedestrian on the bridge and not being a bike rider. I will never...ever...ever ride my bike over the Brooklyn Bridge again.

We went to visit Lex at work and back to Bed Stuy. Glad to be back, and it is awesome that in Bed Stuy, Michael Jackson music is still playing. Long live the KING...
